Stoneware, thrown by hand
Four pieces for the table, made slowly and meant to be used every day.
A vase, a tumbler, a low bowl and a carafe. Each is thrown on the wheel from a speckled clay, fired once and glazed in one of four colours.

Every form, in the colour you pick.
A soft white that lets the iron specks in the clay come through.

The clay
A speckled stoneware, fired once.
The clay is a buff stoneware with flecks of iron in it. In the kiln the iron rises through the glaze as small dark specks, so each piece carries its own pattern. We fire once, slowly, and let the kiln cool for a day before the door opens.
Walls are left a little uneven where the fingers pulled them. The feet are unglazed, so you can feel what the pot is made of.
